MRA wins HR Excellence Award 2013
The Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) was awarded the HR Champion of the HR Excellence Award 2013 in the Public Sector, Organization category during a ceremony held on 18th October 2013 at the Méridien Hotel. During the same event, the Director General, MRA, Mr. Sudhamo Lal, was presented with the CEO with HR Orientation Award in the HR Professional Category by the Hon. Vasant Bunwaree, Minister of Education and Human Resources.The MRA also won the HR Excellence in Strategic HRM Award as well as the HR Excellence in Employer of Choice Award. ISO 9001:2008 |

In September 2012, the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) obtained the ISO 9001:2008 certifications by the Mauritius Standards Bureau (MSB) for a period of 3 years up to July 2015. The certification confirms that MRA has an effective Quality Management System in place and that its processes meet the quality standard criteria set out by ISO 9001. This initiative helps MRA to achieve its objectives of providing prompt, efficient, effective and quality services to taxpayers, stakeholders and the public at large in an effort to exceed their expectations. In the course of this project, all employees of MRA were provided training on quality concepts, customer care and requirements of ISO 9001 for promoting MRA’s quality culture across the organization |

HR Excellence Award 2011 |

MRA was awarded The Special Jury HR Excellence Award and The Award for Commitment to Strategic Human Resources Management at the HR Excellence Award Ceremony. ICT Excellence Award 2011 |

The Mauritius Quality Institute (MQI) and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) jointly organised the Best Anti-Corruption Framework (BACF) 2010 Award and the MRA won the first prize in the following categories: MRA was awarded the Best Public Sector Organisation Award for adopting ICT to significantly enhance service delivery to the public at large. This contest was the first ICT Excellence Award Edition, organised by the Ministry on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). |
